MIU France stainless steel purple mojito muddler, item # 3833. This is a great item to have in every bar. The muddler measures 10-inches in length with a 1-inch wide head. The texturized head crushes limes, mint leaves and ice to make Mojitos. Using this muddler releases the aroma and oils stored within the mint leaves, which when released will enhance the flavor of the drink. Dishwasher safe.

This is a simple, effective, muddler. It has pretty hefty weight to it. It's weight comes from a mortar of sorts that fills the hollow stainless steel exterior. How do you know this?, you might ask. The first time I picked it up and examined it the head felt a little loose so I wiggled it a little. The head then came out completely with a bunch of white mortar dust. I cleaned it up, mixed up a small tube of epoxy and put it together the way it should have been originally.
